Hey guys,

Recently I went out, got some footage, some of it is shot at 24 fps the other half is shot at 60fps. I want to use twixtor on some of the footage and was wondering what the best way is to organize and edit this footage. I have my music picked out. I edit with cs6 premiere and after effects (Which I am pretty new at) Should I lay all my footage out to the music in premiere (without slow motion) and then transfer it over to after effects and slow the parts down that i want? Or is it best to slow the individual clips down in after effects, save them to the desktop, move them over to premiere and place them in so they line up with the music? There are certain shots I want at 24fps and others slowed down a lot.

Help me unravel this confusion :)

Dom, I’m gonna let O’Ryan handle this one ;)

Yea I saw his shaving video! I transferred some of the footage from 60 to 24fps but it doesn’t look as slowed down as his so it would be nice to know what he did and how he went about organizing footage when using twixtor or going between premier and after effects.

This was actually a pretty informative piece also

It would be nice to hear how O’Ryan goes about it as well.
