So while trying to edit videos from my Sony AVCHD Handycam, I came into a major problem… Windows Movie Maker won’t play my my videos at all. I’ve downloaded updated codecs and tried Windows Live Movie Maker, but haven’t encountered a fix for it yet. Has anyone out there have a solution?

Thanks! :)

It says MPEG TS file. Also, they play fine in Window Media Player…

Get mpeg stream clip and convert the files to mpgs
http://www.squared5.com/

You can use that to batch all of your video files at once to another format.

My old camcorder used to do this. It’s basically a container file around an mpg file but it screws up movie maker.
